Another Day

Here we are at day 60 1 Is it day 61 or is it day 1 all over again? I don't know. So in the end of the challenge it's looking like out of all the people that started, it ended pretty much with 3 people actually finishing. I came in last place of those 3. #1 and #2 had their own little competition going on as well between the two of them. They are IRL friends and they kept each other motivated and challenged throughout the whole process. They probably also had support at home. My IRL people don't get it. They don't get it so much that I don't tell people what I am doing anymore. I think that helps me inside my head, but it also hurts my progress sometimes. It's so hard. I'm not having a pity party. I am just trying to figure out what kind of process and help gets you further in the game. Do you need people behind you helping or can you do it all on your own? Just a thought to ponder! Now, I am off to work. Sometimes I walk a lot at work. Today I am going to put on my pedometer for fun and just see what it tells me because I am curious sometimes just how many steps I take at work!  Tonight Natalie has dance but my plan is to ride my bike afterward. I will TRY to accomplish that goal.

  1. The things you write are so much how I feel. I do not have the IRL support either and that makes it harder. That is also sort of why I just quit. Having someone there to push you harder is a HUGE motivator. Just this week I started the Weightloss Revolution at the YMCA here. Not only is the cost I paid to join a motivator but the 1st 2nd and 3rd place finishers get some great prizes: cash, personal training sessions, free gym membership and dietitian meetings for 3 mo. I am hopeful this class will help give me a swift kick in the rump to not only get going but STAY going.
